How did the Department of Communities - Child Protection and Family Support respond to the expected increase in reporting  following the introduction of mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse?
The Department received additional funding for 17.5 permanent Mandatory Reporting Service staff, and 14 temporary Mandatory Reporting Service staff to receive record and assess all mandatory reports.

53 additional field service delivery staff across the State were funded to respond to reports and provide services to children and their families.
